The Ashgabat sales office of Turkish Airlines spoke about the rules for transporting baggage and items in the aircraft cabin and hand luggage. Airline representatives explained that some items are prohibited from being carried in the cabin and hand luggage in accordance with international air travel regulations.

Among the prohibited items in the cabin and hand luggage were:

Sports equipment such as golf clubs, baseball bats and cricket bats

Flammable items including travel tiles

Sharp piercing and cutting objects, including sewing kits

Representatives of Turkish Airlines noted that to ensure the comfort of passengers during the flight, many items prohibited in hand luggage can be carried in the luggage compartment as checked baggage.
