Turkmen entrepreneurs will present their products at an exhibition in Tashkent

On July 15-16, 2024, a large-scale national exhibition of Turkmen goods “Made in Turkmenistan” will be held in Tashkent. The event was organized within the framework of the meetings of the Joint Turkmen-Uzbek Commission and the Turkmen-Uzbek Business Council.

More than 60 Turkmen companies from various sectors of the economy will present their products at the exhibition, demonstrating a wide range of goods and services produced in Turkmenistan. The “Turkmenportal” was informed about this by the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.

The agro-industrial complex will be represented by such companies as “Hasar”, “Bars”, “Taze ay”, “Balam”, “Yunus”, producing confectionery, dairy products and chocolate. Visitors will be able to appreciate the quality of soft drinks from “Yupekchi”, “Sada suv” and “Yakymly kumush suvy”.

The food industry will also be widely represented: “Ovadan ulke” will show its line of mayonnaises and ketchups, and “Gundogar akymy” will show its sunflower oil. Particular attention will be drawn to the stands of companies specializing in the production of products exotic for the region, such as ostrich meat from entrepreneur Velmuradova Maysa and turkey from Ibragimova Zerey.

The industrial sector of Turkmenistan will be represented by a variety of companies. “Aydyn gijeler” will demonstrate household appliances, “Deregly ussat” will demonstrate building materials, including glass and doors. “Nurseyit” will present gypsum products, and “Ak-bulut” will present dry building mixtures and plasterboard.

Light industry will be represented by shoe manufacturers “Muhammet Balkan” and “Rovshen”, as well as the textile company “Batly Gadam”, which produces cotton yarn and socks.

Of particular interest will be the stands with traditional Turkmen handmade carpets, which will be presented by several individual entrepreneurs, including Eyeberdiyeva Orazgul and Tajibayeva Kumush.

The chemical industry will be represented by “Tach hil”, which produces detergents, and “Asuda akym”, specializing in automobile oils. The exhibition will also feature companies working in the tourism sector, such as “Oguzabat” and “Ashgabatsyyahat”, which will talk about the tourism potential of Turkmenistan.

The organizers expect that the “Made in Turkmenistan” exhibition will become an important platform for establishing new business contacts between entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. The event will not only demonstrate a wide range of Turkmen products, but will also highlight the growing industrial and export potential of the country. The exhibition is expected to attract a large number of visitors, including representatives of Uzbek business, potential investors and ordinary consumers interested in quality Turkmen goods.
