Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and Ambassador of Kazakhstan Askar Tazhibayev held a meeting on the occasion of the end of his mission in Ashgabat. This was reported on the website of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.
The parties discussed the current state of affairs and the potential for development of bilateral relations. Particular attention was paid to key areas of interaction, including political, economic and cultural areas.
Following the conversation, Rashid Meredov expressed gratitude to the Kazakh diplomat for his efforts to strengthen ties between the two states and wished him further professional success.
In turn, Ambassador Tazhibaev thanked the Turkmen side for the support provided during his diplomatic mission in Turkmenistan.
