In Shanghai, a burglar broke into an office and left a note recommending increased security. This is reported by pravilamag.ru with reference to the South China Morning Post.

Having entered the office through a window, a man surnamed Sang took only a wristwatch and an Apple MacBook laptop. He left the remaining gadgets – mobile phones and laptops – on the table, accompanied by an open notebook.

“Dear boss, I only took my wristwatch and laptop. You must improve your security system. I didn’t take all the phones and laptops for fear that it might hurt your business. Contact me if you want to return your watch and laptop,” Sang wrote, leaving his phone number.

With the help of CCTV cameras, Sang was found and detained on a train leaving Shanghai. He also had stolen gadgets with him.

The robber’s unusual act caused a strong reaction on Chinese social networks. Many users called him “kind”, “honest” and even “too cocky” for a thief.

“Instead of asking the company to improve its anti-theft system, he should have improved his escape skills,” one commenter wryly noted.
