Many Russian universities are interested in joint educational projects with Turkmenistan. This was stated by the First Secretary of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Turkmenistan, Yulia Zaitseva, reports SNG.Today.
Among the universities willing to cooperate: State Institute of Russian Language named after A.S. Pushkin (Moscow), Russian State Pedagogical Institute named after A.I. Herzen (St. Petersburg), Kazan Federal University, Astrakhan State University named after V.N. Tatishchev.
Zaitseva’s statement was made at a meeting with the teaching staff of the Russian language of the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages. Regarding this Turkmen university, the diplomat noted that Russian universities are ready for active specialized interaction with Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages. At the same time, Russian universities offer a wide range of cooperation programs, including advanced training courses, internships and exchange programs.
“Almost all Russian universities have their own teaching methods and implementation of advanced training programs for various specialists”, - added Zaitseva.
The positive experience of cooperation in 2023 was also mentioned, when specialists from Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University (NCSPU, Tatarstan) successfully conducted advanced training courses for teachers from Turkmenistan.
Zaitseva reported that in the near future the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation plans to hold a major international forum of education ministers “Shaping the Future”.
“Turkmenistan will also be represented at this forum in the person of the Deputy Minister”, she noted, expressing the hope that after the forum the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation will receive proposals for new projects.
