General Director of the Agency for Transport and Communications M. Chakyev reported on the modernization of the regulatory framework of the transport and communications complex in accordance with modern requirements, writes the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
As reported at the Government meeting, for the further development of the country’s space industry, it is planned to develop a Concept of State Policy in the field of space activities. The main objectives are to improve work in the field of space with the introduction of new technologies, expand the services of the TürkmenÄlem 52°E satellite, and modernize ground-based space infrastructure.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the importance of effectively using the potential of satellite communications for the digital system. He instructed to continue improving the legal framework of the transport and communications sector in accordance with the realities of the time and to carry out work in this direction.
