Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin will take part in a meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of Government in Ashgabat on May 24, reports the Russian Foreign Ministry.
It is noted that during the meeting, current issues of trade and economic cooperation in the CIS will be considered, as well as a number of draft documents in such areas as energy and transport, ecology, intellectual property protection, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
In particular, it is expected that the Concept of cooperation between the CIS member states in the energy sector for the period until 2035 and the Action Plan for optimizing infrastructure and developing international transport corridors passing through the territory of the CIS member states for the period until 2030 will be approved.
Turkmenportal previously reported that the meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the CIS in May 2024 will be hosted by Ashgabat.
