The secret lies in Mozilla's browser profile cache feature, which allows you to store such a huge number of tabs without any problems.
The girl notes that, contrary to expectations, such a number of tabs did not become a serious test for Firefox. The file size of a session with 7000 open tabs was only 70 MB.
Special algorithms allow Firefox to optimize performance. Tabs are loaded into memory only if they have been opened recently.
Hazel's words are confirmed by a Mozilla spokesperson, saying that the browser allows you to open "countless" tabs that "take up virtually no memory."
