During the meeting of the Deputy Chairman of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan with the regional coordinator of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) Dmitry Godunov, a number of issues related to the implementation of the Concept for the development of the digital economy in the country for 2019-2025 were discussed. As part of the first and second stages of implementation of the Concept, the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan has successfully implemented electronic declaration of ASYCUDA and is effectively working on the implementation of a Single Window for export-import transactions.
During the meeting, UNCTAD proposals for the implementation of the third stage of digitalization of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan were also considered.
