During a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov gave a number of instructions aimed at creating the necessary conditions for conducting a high-level cotton sowing campaign.
According to the State News Agency of Turkmenistan, the head of state emphasized the importance of using high-quality seeds and the effective use of modern agricultural machinery during sowing work.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov heard a report from Deputy Prime Minister T. Atahalliyev, which spoke about the measures taken to ensure timely sowing of cotton, ensuring the uninterrupted operation of special equipment and units, as well as supplying producers with high-quality seeds.
Currently, tenants continue to fertilize wheat with mineral fertilizers and vegetative irrigation in accordance with agrotechnical standards. At the same time, specialized enterprises, grain collection points and elevators are preparing for the upcoming harvest.
Special attention at the meeting was paid to practical steps to strengthen food abundance, increase the production of potatoes, vegetables and melons, as well as ensure the proper level of sowing and care of spring crops.
In addition, work continues to expand the area of forest zones, transform the country into a blooming garden and rational use of water resources.
