At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov discussed issues of preparation for the upcoming Turkmen-Japanese business forum scheduled for March 27 in Tokyo. The event will be held with the participation of representatives of small and medium-sized businesses of the two countries, writes the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
Deputy Prime Minister B. Atdayev reported to the head of state on the progress of preparations for the forum. It was reported that the prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation between Turkmenistan and Japan in such areas as investment, industry, transport, logistics, as well as the private sector will be discussed at the business forum in Tokyo. In addition, a presentation of work on the creation of the National Pavilion of Turkmenistan is planned at the upcoming World Exhibition “EXPO 2025” in Japan.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the development of trade and economic ties with foreign partners is one of the priorities of the country's foreign policy. Focusing on the upcoming Turkmen-Japanese business forum in Tokyo, the head of state instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to ensure its high organizational level.
