Turkmenistan exceeded the plan for the production and export of energy resources in the first 2 months of 2024

For January-February 2024, the plan for the production of oil and gas condensate in Turkmenistan was fulfilled by 100,2%. Deputy Prime Minister Batyr Amanov announced this on March 1 during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.

Reportedly, the “Turkmenneft” State Concern exceeded the planned figures for oil and gas condensate production by 2,4%. The plan for oil refining at the State Concern's refineries was also exceeded by 1,9%.

During the period under review, the production plan was exceeded by 1,8%, diesel fuel by 0,4%, and lubricating oils by 9%. The growth rate of “blue fuel” exports compared to the same period last year was 100,5%.

After listening to the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that in order to ensure the operation of oil refineries at full capacity, it is necessary to take comprehensive measures to increase the production of hydrocarbons.

In this regard, focusing on the importance of active implementation of modern technologies in the industry, the head of state addressed the Deputy Prime Minister with relevant instructions.

It is worth noting that at the end of 2023, gas production in Turkmenistan reached 80,6 billion cubic meters, and oil - over 8,3 million tons.
