A cooperation agreement was signed by representatives of the A.S. Pushkin joint Turkmen-Russian secondary school in Ashgabat and Astrakhan State University. This was reported by CentralAsia.news.
The signing ceremony of the document took place at Astrakhan State University as part of a television quiz dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Fragi.
The event was attended by university students, students of the school named after Magtymguly Fragi in the village of Funtovo, Privolzhsky district, and the Turkmen-Russian school named after A.S. Pushkin.
The participants were divided into four teams and answered quiz questions about the life and work of the poet. The winner was the team of schoolchildren from Turkmenistan “Zvezdochki”.
The jury included Attache of the Consulate of Turkmenistan in Astrakhan Enegul Kakajanova.
