1. The head of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, awarded the President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan the title of “Honorary Elder of Turkmenistan” on the occasion of his 70th birthday. As noted in the message of the head of state, the honorary title was awarded to the President of Türkiye for his enormous personal contribution to the development of Turkmen-Turkish relations, services aimed at the unity of the two peoples, as well as on the occasion of his birthday.

2. National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov paid a working visit to the city of Arkadag. The purpose of the trip was to inspect construction projects planned for construction in a new “smart” city of national importance. The head of the Halk Maslahaty got acquainted with the project documentation, construction materials and held a working meeting with the heads of relevant departments.

3. On March 17-19, a multidisciplinary exhibition dedicated to the 16th anniversary of the creation of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan will be held at the exhibition center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan. Visitors will be able to get acquainted with the modern achievements of the private sector of the economy of Turkmenistan - see examples of innovative products of enterprises, new types of services offered by businesses. 4. Turkmen students took an active part in the exhibition for the International Mother Language Day, organized at the Moscow State Law University. At the Turkmen stand, with the support of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation, the Turkmen language and literature were presented. The stand, decorated with the slogans “Descendants will remember Magtymguly, truly, will become the mouth of Turkmenistan” and “Here brotherhood is a custom, and friendship is the law”, was dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the classic of Turkmen literature.

5. Today, more than 300 online stores are registered in Turkmenistan that sell food, everyday goods, clothing, building materials, furniture and other products. The increase in the number of electronic trading platforms is associated with an increase in demand for online services, an increase in Internet speed and regular reductions in tariffs for the services of the “Turkmentelecom” and “Altyn Asyr” operators. All this is facilitated by targeted work within the framework of the implementation of the State Program for the Development of the Digital Economy in Turkmenistan for 2021-2025.

6. Turkmenistan will host the next Russian language Olympiad for students in grades 10-11, organized by the D. Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages. High school students from all secondary schools in the country are invited to participate in the two-stage competition. The first absentee round will be on March 6. The second in-person round will be on April 27 in a testing format directly at the institute.

A small watch with a copper case froze at the moment of the explosion, recording the time at 8:15 am - a fateful hour for the Japanese city. Through the clouded glass you can see the hands, forever frozen in this terrible moment. The name of the new owner of the watch, who purchased it for 31 113 USD, has not been disclosed.

9. The “Arkadag” players won a friendly match. In control sparring at the training camp in the UAE, Vladimir Bayramov’s team beat the current two-time champion and winner of the Super Cup of the Kyrgyz Republic “Abdysh-Ata” from Kant with a score of 2:1. In the new season, which starts on March 4, “Arkadag” is preparing to defend the championship title. In preparation for it, Vladimir Bayramov's wards held training camps in Türkiye and the UAE, during which they took part in 6 test matches, winning 3, drawing 1 and losing twice.

10. Turkmen fighter Abdulla Babayev defeated Abdulaziz Yuldoshev from Tajikistan in a fight at the AMC Fight Nights 123 tournament. Babayev won by submission in the first round in his debut fight in the Fight Nights promotion ring. Abdulla Babayev is an international master of sports in combat sambo, three-time World Cup winner, Asian champion and world champion in pankration. 11. Judoists of Turkmenistan won gold and silver medals at the European Open Championship that ended in Poland. Maisa Pardayeva won the highest award. The 19 years old athlete achieved this success in the weight category up to 57 kg. In the final, the Turkmen judoka defeated the representative of Spain, Marta Garcia Martin. 20 years old Serdar Rahimov brought the second medal to the Turkmenistan team, winning silver in the weight category up to 66 kg.
