Hijran Jorakuliyev, a 3rd year student of the Faculty of “Folk Music” of the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kuliyeva, took first place in the International Competition of Folk Instrument Performers FOLK-ART, which was held in Kazan.
According to the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”, this is not the first victory of the young musician in international competitions. In 2021, he also took first place in the International Competition “Magic of Music”, organized by the Kazan Conservatory.
In the FOLK-ART competition, the title of “Best Teacher” was awarded to Hijran’s mentor, senior teacher of the department of “folk musical instruments” Tatyana Vladimirovna Yuzeeva, who was awarded a diploma and a certificate of honor.
