The champion of the 2023 Major League of Turkmenistan "Arkadag" will play with the Russian football club "Paris NN" as part of a friendly match at a training camp in the UAE, the press service of Nizhny Novgorod reported.
The game with the representative of the Russian Premier League will take place on February 18. The start time and location of the match will be announced later.
Paris Nizhny Novgorod has been playing in the RPL and the Russian Cup since 2021. Founded June 1, 2015. Until June 10, 2022, it was called “Nizhny Novgorod”, previously – “Olympian” and “Volga-Olympian”. The club's highest achievement can be called the 1/8 finals of the Russian Cup, as well as bronze in the 2020/21 FNL. The highest place in the Russian championships is 11th.
Let us remind you that Vladimir Bayramov’s team is preparing for the 2024 Turkmenistan Championship, which starts on March 4. In the new season, Arkadag is preparing to defend the championship title.
At the first winter training camp in Turkey, Arkadag held three control matches - with the North Macedonian Vardar (1:0), as well as UPL clubs: Shakhtar (1:4) and the Dnepr-1 team (0:1) .
