A working meeting between the Consul General of Turkmenistan Guych Garayev and the rector of Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University (NSPU) Alfinur Galiakberova was held in Kazan.
According to the press service of the Turkmen diplomatic department, the parties discussed the results of joint work in 2023. The rector of the NSPU thanked the Turkmen side for supporting cooperation in the field of education. The university’s contribution to the professional development of 300 teachers of Turkmenistan was noted, as well as educational events for students of the Turkmen-Russian school named after. A.S. Pushkin.
The parties identified promising areas for further cooperation. In particular, they discussed joint scientific publications and the conclusion of agreements between educational institutions of the two countries.
The Consul General of Turkmenistan highly appreciated the efforts of the NSPU in training teaching staff and expressed interest in expanding cooperation in this area.
The outcome of the meeting was a confirmation of the parties’ commitment to further strengthening bilateral ties in the field of education.
