Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmed Gurbanov met with the Governor of the Razavi Horasan Province of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Yakub Ali Nazari.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the current state and further development of cooperation between the two countries, the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reports.
The interlocutors noted the high level of trust in bilateral relations, secured by the systematic and dynamic nature of contacts at the highest level.
The parties' interest in intensifying interaction between the regions of the two states was emphasized. In this context, the Memorandum signed earlier between the Mary velayat of Turkmenistan and the Iranian province of Razavi Horasan was also touched upon.
