13-year-old US gamer Willis Gibson became the first person to complete the Tetris game on the original 1988 console. He broke all world records in terms of total score, level achieved and number of lines knocked out. It took Willis 38 minutes to complete the game. The game just froze, which means the end for this version. This was reported by MIR 24 with reference to the Daily Mail.

The schoolboy dedicated his achievement to his late father Adam Gibson. “Oh my God, yes! Now I'll lose consciousness. I can’t feel my fingers, I can’t feel my hands,” the gamer exclaimed.

During the game, Willis used a special “scrolling” technique. Its essence lies in the fact that the game reads more than 20 clicks per second per touch on the joystick. With this technique, the player can move pieces quickly and efficiently, lining up lines and scoring points.

The computer game Tetris was invented in 1984 by Soviet programmer Alexei Pajitnov.
