Gaston Glock, founder of the Austrian firearms company Glock, has died at the age of 94. TASS reports this with reference to the company's press release.
In the 1980s, Glock developed the Glock 17 pistol, which became one of the most popular pistols in the world. It is used by the armies and law enforcement agencies of many countries.
“Our founder Gaston Glock not only revolutionized the firearms world in the 1980s, but was also able to establish the Glock brand as a global leader in the industry,” the company said in a press release.
