In connection with the proclamation of the ancient Turkmen city of Anau as the cultural capital of the Turkic world for 2024, a corresponding Plan was approved in the country and an organizing committee was created. Deputy Prime Minister Mahrijemal Mammedova spoke about this during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, TDH writes.
According to this document, it is planned to hold a number of celebrations and organize international events - a scientific conference, a youth forum, festivals, meetings, exhibitions, a film festival, a ceremony to sum up the events on the occasion of the proclamation of Anau as the cultural capital of the Turkic world, regular meetings of the Permanent Council of Ministers of Culture of the TURKSOY member countries and etc.
Information was also given about the presentation of a challenge symbol in connection with the proclamation of the ancient Turkmen city of Anau as the cultural capital of the Turkic world for 2024.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to prepare thoroughly and at a high level for the upcoming celebrations in honor of awarding the city of Anau the status of the cultural capital of the Turkic world next year.
