CIS Secretary General Sergey Lebedev sent a congratulatory message to the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the occasion of Neutrality Day, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
“The policy of permanent neutrality, proclaimed and progressively pursued by independent Turkmenistan, helps strengthen international peace and security at the regional and global levels, plays an important role in the development of friendly and mutually beneficial relations in the international arena”, - Sergey Lebedev noted in his message.
The CIS Secretary General expressed confidence that adherence to the principle of neutrality will contribute to further strengthening the authority of Turkmenistan in the region and the world.
Taking this opportunity, Sergey Lebedev wished the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov good health, prosperity and success in responsible activities at the highest government position, and prosperity and well-being to the Turkmen people.
