Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Berdiniyaz Myatiyev accepted copies of credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Benin to Turkmenistan (with residence in Moscow) Akambi Andre Okunlola-Biau.
According to the Turkmen Foreign Ministry, Myatiyev congratulated the ambassador on his appointment and expressed confidence that his work will contribute to the further development of relations between the two countries.
The parties discussed the prospects for Turkmen-Benin cooperation within the framework of international organizations, as well as the possibilities of expanding bilateral ties in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
