The President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to ensure the festive decoration and improvement of Ashgabat, as well as the holding of high-level cultural events that will be held in the capital on the occasion of the International Day of Neutrality and the New Year, widely celebrated in the country, during a working meeting on the digital system with the participation of velayat hyakims and the city of Ashgabat, as well as the deputy hyakim of the Balkan region for agricultural issues, TDH reports.
The agenda also included the progress of work in the country's agro-industrial complex and the capital. Regional leaders noted that these days the harvesting of the cotton remaining in the fields continues, which is then sent for processing to cotton ginneries. Payments to tenants for harvested crops are made in a timely manner. The vacated lands are being plowed in preparation for next year's harvest. Particular attention is paid to caring for wheat crops.
In Dashoguz and Lebap velayats, work on harvesting the grown rice crop is at the final stage, where the necessary agricultural equipment is used.
In Mary velayat, work is also underway to collect and process sugar beets.
Having heard the report and noting that the main requirement today is the high-quality implementation of seasonal agricultural work, the head of state instructed to keep under control the issues of accelerating the cotton harvest without losses, caring for wheat fields in compliance with agricultural technology standards.
In addition, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to pay more attention to the quality of construction in accordance with the Program for the socio-economic development of the country of various facilities planned for commissioning in the regions this year.
It was also noted that necessary preparations are being made in Ashgabat for high-level celebrations on the occasion of the International Day of Neutrality and the New Year holiday.
Measures are being taken to transform the capital into a blooming garden, improve its beautiful corners, and create comfortable conditions for residents and guests of the city. In addition, everything necessary is done to ensure high-quality performance of construction work at social and industrial facilities.
Along with this, work is being carried out to reliably provide Ashgabat residents with electricity, natural gas, drinking water, heating and other utilities.
