The newly appointed Ambassador of Algeria to Turkmenistan (with residence in Ankara) Amar Belani presented copies of his credentials to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Berdyniyaz Matiyev, reports the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for bilateral cooperation and expanding partnerships between the countries.
Diplomats noted the presence of great potential for increasing Turkmen-Algerian cooperation in the political, trade, economic and humanitarian spheres. Particular attention was paid to joint work within the UN and other international platforms.
Berdyniyaz Matiyev wished the Ambassador of Algeria success in his work and assured of the readiness of the Turkmen side to provide the necessary assistance in carrying out the diplomatic mission.
