Turkmenistan presented its pavilion at the exhibition of the UN Special Program for the Economies of Central Asia, which was held in Baku.
This event, entitled “Exhibition of SPECA Countries: Regional Cooperation for Sustainable Development”, was organized on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the creation of the Program and on the eve of the SPECA summit.
According to the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”, the pavilion, whose stands were prepared by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, demonstrated to visitors the country's achievements in various fields. Photos and videos introduced the country’s energy potential, the products of various industries, the scale of construction and the “smart” city of Arkadag. Also presented here were products of the textile industry, products of national crafts, goods and services of Turkmen entrepreneurs.
The participating states of SPECA, which aims to develop cooperation between its members and support their integration into the world economy, are Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan.
At the exhibition, the participating states presented their economic potential and opportunities for expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields.
