The first solar eclipse will occur on April 8. The phenomenon will be complete, that is, the Moon will completely cover the Sun. It will be visible to residents of the USA, Canada and Mexico. The duration of the eclipse at the maximum phase will be 4 minutes and 28 seconds.
On October 2, we will experience an annular solar eclipse - an astronomical phenomenon in which the Moon does not completely cover the Sun. The eclipse will pass through the territory of Argentina, Chile, as well as the central and southeastern zone of the Pacific Ocean. The duration of the eclipse will be 7 minutes 25 seconds.
