A Turkmen-Iranian business forum was held in Ashgabat, aimed at further deepening the partnership between the two countries. The next meeting of business circles took place at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan as part of the specialized exhibition of Iran Iran Prože, TDH reports.
At the meeting, promising areas of cooperation between industry departments and business communities of Turkmenistan and Iran were discussed. The discussion was about realizing the significant trade and economic potential of the two countries in such areas as industry, the oil and gas sector, construction and production of building materials, energy, trade, agriculture and transport.
The Iranian delegation included heads of government agencies, organizations supporting entrepreneurship, as well as large Iranian companies known for developments in the field of high technology.
The Turkmen side was represented by the heads of relevant ministries and departments, members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, more than 80 companies and private enterprises.
During the forum, opportunities for long-term cooperation were discussed, taking into account mutual interests. Promising projects in the field of road construction, urban improvement, oil and gas and chemical industries were presented. Priority was given to the trade and economic sphere, agriculture and other areas.
On the Iranian side, proposals were made by the heads of Saba Energy, Saden Gorgan International Transport RT.Co, Azar Passilo, Tapico.
Particular attention was paid to intensifying business relations at the level of small and medium-sized businesses. This cooperation is considered very promising, given the pace of development of the private sector of the economy of Turkmenistan.
