Saudi “Al-Ittihad” suffered their first defeat in the fourth round of the group stage of the Asian Champions League.
In the away match, the club from Jeddah lost to Iraqi “Al-Quwa” with a score of 0:2. The goals against the Saudi team were scored by Yasmin Al-Tamimi (44th minute) and Mohannad Abdul-Rahim (52nd minute).
French forward Karim Benzema started for “Al-Ittihad” and played the entire match, but was unable to help the club get points.
“Al Ittihad” lost points for the first time in this Asian Champions League, but continues to lead group “C” with 9 points. “Al-Quwa” (7 points) is in second place.
