Director of the United Nations International Partnership for Ecosystem Management under the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), Lingchiu Jang, was in Ashgabat on a working visit.
During her stay in the country, Lingchiu Jang held meetings with the UN country team, national institutions dealing with environmental issues, and gave a lecture at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
She also took a tour of the new city of Arkadag, where she got acquainted with the modern technologies used for its construction, the UN press service in Turkmenistan reports.
