On Thursday, in the building of the Legislative Assembly, in the Mariinsky Palace of St. Petersburg, a presentation of the book of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov “The Meaning of My Life” in Russian, published in April 2022, took place. The Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation reports this.
The event was organized by the branch of the Humanitarian Association of Turkmens of the World in St. Petersburg and the North-West of the Russian Federation together with the Committee on External Relations and the Committee on Interethnic Relations and the Implementation of Migration Policy in St. Petersburg, as well as with the support of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the city administration, heads of national-cultural and public associations of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region, cultural and artistic figures, scientists, historians and media representatives, heads of consular offices of some foreign countries.
Representatives of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan - head of the department of philosophy and legal sciences G. Geldiyeva and senior researcher of the department of Turkmen literature and literary relations of the Institute of Language, Literature and National Manuscript named after Magtymguly Sh. Hekimov - outlined the meaning and deep content of this book.
Participants of the event watched a video telling about the latest achievements of Turkmenistan. As part of the presentation, an exhibition of paintings, books and magazines about Turkmenistan, Turkmen national carpets and decorative jewelry was launched.
At the end of the presentation, the guests of honor were presented with copies of the book, the source notes.
