Students with visual impairments, hearing impairments and autism spectrum disorders study at the College of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Belarus. This year the first graduation of blind programmers was here. In total, there are six colleges in Minsk that educate students with special needs, and all of their graduates have found jobs in their specialty. This is described in the TV report “MIR 24”.

“I bow to the teachers, teachers who work in these institutions. For us it is very important. It is important because we in the Council of the Republic have created an advisory council, when people turn to us, and we considered the issues of integrating children with special needs into society. This is an opportunity to work, this is an opportunity to live a normal life in society”, - the TV channel quotes the Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Natalya Kochanova, who visited the college of digital technologies.

About 37 thousand people with special needs of psychophysical development live in Belarus. Of these, 11% are minors. They are helped to integrate into society from the age of one and a half years, the source notes.
