The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, together with his wife Ogulgerek Berdimuhamedova, took part in the official meeting ceremony of the heads of delegations participating in the III International Forum “One Belt, One Road,” the Watan information program reported.
The ceremony and group photography took place at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. In honor of the distinguished guests and members of their families, an official dinner was held on behalf of the Chairman of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, during which cultural and artistic figures of the PRC made speeches.
The event was also attended by the Secretary-General of the United Nations Antonio Guterres, President of Russia Vladimir Putin, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban, Acting Prime Minister of Pakistan Anwar ul-Haq Kakar, heads states and governments of several other countries.
After the official events, the motorcade of the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov went to the residence allocated for him during the visit.
It is worth noting that the main events of the forum will take place tomorrow, October 18. During the working visit to the PRC, the National Leader of the Turkmen people will also hold negotiations with the Chairman of the PRC Xi Jinping.
