Two Canadian provinces hit by Hurricane Lee

Residents of the Canadian provinces of Nova Scotia and New Brunswick are without electricity due to the powerful post-tropical storm Lee, which hit the east coast of the country, writes the WORLD 24 portal.

In Nova Scotia, 120 thousand homes and institutions were left without electricity, and another 46 thousand people were cut off from electricity in New Brunswick. No casualties were reported from the hurricane.

The hurricane in Canada continues to rage, the wind speed at the epicenter is 28 meters per second, and the wave height on the coast is 4-6 meters.

Posttropical cyclones are those that originate in tropical areas and gradually lose strength as they move.
