Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov took part in the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of Central Asian countries held today in Dushanbe, the MIC reports.

In recent years, the countries of the Central Asian region have been implementing significant and large-scale measures aimed at supporting sustainable socio-economic and environmental development, creating an innovative industry and developing transport infrastructure, it was noted at the meeting.

The heads of foreign affairs agencies expressed confidence that the upcoming meeting of the heads of Central Asian states in Dushanbe will be of great importance in achieving concrete results.
