On September 11, Beglov visited Arkadag, where he got acquainted with its infrastructure, including electric buses, electric cars, a video surveillance system and urban transport management, centralasia.news reports.
Beglov noted that Arkadag is a “city of the future”, built using the most modern technologies. He also expressed St. Petersburg’s readiness to cooperate with Arkadag in the fields of economics, culture, education and sports.
“Arkadag is an example of how a modern city can be built taking into account the latest achievements of science and technology. We are ready to share our experience with the Turkmen people in order to together make Arkadag even more beautiful and prosperous”, Beglov said.
