In Mary velayat, a meeting was held in the customs building with the participation of representatives of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan, a number of ministries and departments, as well as private entrepreneurs.
At the meeting, a wide range of issues of interaction between customs and private sector participants were considered. The main topics of discussion were the implementation of government programs to increase exports and import substitution in the country and the role of entrepreneurship in modernizing sectors of the national economic complex, increasing volumes and increasing the range of competitive products from local raw materials.
Specialists from the State Customs Service made a report on how the customs system is developing in the country and the legal framework is being systematically improved.
Participants were familiarized with legislative and legal acts aimed at supporting exports and providing for simplification of procedures and benefits for exporters, according to the website of the State Customs Service.
