From September 15 to October 30, the IV International Student Internet Olympiad “Electoral Systems of the Countries of the World” will be held among university students from member states of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly, BELTA reports.
The main goals and objectives of the Internet Olympiad are to increase the level of knowledge of young voters about the principles of democratic development of modern society, parliamentarism and the voting rights of citizens, to develop students' creative abilities and interest in scientific knowledge of the world, to identify and support talented students, to popularize the Russian language as an interethnic language communication.
The 2022 Olympiad was attended by 1,465 students from 149 higher educational institutions of the Commonwealth countries, including Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Russia, Belarus and others.
To participate in the 2023 Internet Olympiad, you must fill out an application. After this, login information for the Olympiad system will be sent to the email address specified in the application form.
The tasks of the Olympiad are closed-type tests with the choice of the correct answer from the proposed ones and open-ended questions, where the participant is required to write his answer.
The International Student Internet Olympiad “Electoral Systems of the World” has been held annually since 2020.
