From September 1, new rules for placing gadgets on the windshield of a car come into force in Russia. Now drivers are prohibited from installing any objects on the windshield that may limit the view of the road.
This ban aims to improve road safety. According to the traffic police, the use of gadgets while driving is one of the main causes of accidents.
The list of permitted items does not include, in particular, video recorders, phone or navigator mounts. These devices must be installed in such a way that they do not interfere with the driver's view.
