Negotiations in the Mejlis of Turkmenistan were held today by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the State of Palestine, Riyad al-Maliki, who is in Ashgabat on a visit, the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reports.
During the meeting, the head of the national parliament, Dunyagozel Gulmanova, informed the head of the Foreign Ministry of Palestine about the priorities of the domestic and foreign policy pursued by the President of Turkmenistan, and also acquainted the distinguished guest with the structure of the Mejlis and its legislative activities.
Within the framework of the exchange of views on the prospects of Turkmen-Palestinian cooperation, the importance of strengthening interparliamentary ties as an integral part of interstate dialogue was noted.
