On Monday, the acceptance of documents to universities and vocational schools began in Turkmenistan. The recruitment campaign, which was preceded by extensive information work among young people, was marked by high activity. School graduates were addressed to television programs and publications in the domestic media, dedicated to higher and secondary vocational educational institutions, where open days were held.
The number of educational institutions and areas of professional training is increasing from year to year in the country, according to today's newspaper "Neutral Turkmenistan".
Thus, this year, for the first time, students are recruited to the International Academy of Horse Breeding named after Aba Annayev, created on the initiative of the National Leader of the Turkmen people in the city of Arkadag. The structure of the university includes the faculties of horse breeding, equestrian veterinary medicine, equestrian sports, tourism and national equestrian games, and agricultural economics.
Among the new secondary vocational schools are the Pedagogical School named after Berdimuhamed Annaev and the Medical School named after Sachly Dursunova in the city of Arkadag. The first will train primary school teachers with the right to teach mathematics, computer science, geography, Russian and English in grades 5-6, as well as educators with the right to teach English in kindergartens. The medical school provides for the training of medical personnel with secondary vocational education in a number of specialties and areas.
We remind that President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, at an expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on July 14, by Decree approved plans for admission to study in 2023 in the country's universities in the velayats and the city of Ashgabat, as well as in secondary vocational schools.
The admission campaign will last until August 28.
