Today, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Mahri Bashimova met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to Turkmenistan Ahmed Al Hameli.
During the meeting, bilateral cooperation on a wide range of issues, as well as prospects for further expansion of the Turkmen-Emirate partnership were discussed, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
The parties exchanged views on the results of the recent visit of M. Bashimova to the UAE, during which a number of meetings and events took place in the Foreign Ministry of this country and the Diplomatic Academy named after Anwar Gargash.
The Turkmen side extended an invitation to the leadership and representatives of the Diplomatic Academy named after Anvar Gargash to visit Turkmenistan at any time convenient for them, the source notes.
We remind that in June, Mahri Bashimova visited the UAE, where she held a series of negotiations, during which an agreement was reached to visit teachers and students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan of the Diplomatic Academy of the UAE named after Anvar Gargash in autumn 2023.
