Malaysia is hosting the ABU Global News Forum 2023, which is attended by a delegation of the International Information Center under the State Committee of Turkmenistan on Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography.

On the second day of the forum, members of the Turkmen delegation and leading news agencies from around the world discussed issues related to the role of artificial intelligence in the media, facts, concerns and obstacles to the introduction of AI, as well as climate change around the world. The speakers shared their experience, priorities and goals, discussing ways to prepare specialists for modern changes, the press service of the MIC of Turkmenistan reports.

We remind that on the first day of the forum, the 10 most active participants in the rating of the Asiavision news platform, which publishes up to 15 000 materials a year under the auspices of the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union, were determined.

It was noted that Turkmenistan took 7th place in the prestigious annual ranking, having sent about 300 submissions in the previous 12 months.

The Global News Forum is hosted by the Asia Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU), the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), the Arab Broadcasting Union (ASBU) and the African Broadcasting Union (AUB).
