The American company OceanGate, whose submersible "Titan" with five passengers on board sank off the coast of North America, is again selling dive tickets, writes the Daily Mail.
OceanGate once again invites customers to dive to the wreck of the "Titanic", which lies at a depth of almost 4 kilometers. The price of the dive is the same - 250 thousand dollars.
Bathyscaphe "Titan" went on an expedition to the place where the remains of the famous liner lie at the bottom of the ocean, June 18. Less than two hours after the dive, communication with the apparatus was interrupted. It is assumed that the bathyscaphe crashed just then. Experts call the cause of the death of the ship implosion - an explosion directed inward. The body of the bathyscaphe, made of carbon fiber, could not withstand the pressure of water at a depth of more than 3 thousand meters and was crushed like a tin can.
On June 28, what was left of the bathyscaphe was raised to the surface by the US Coast Guard. Together with the wreckage of the hull, fragments of bodies were recovered from the bottom, presumably, members of the crew of the "Titan".
