The national team of Turkmenistan lost to the national team of Oman in the match of the 3rd round of the group stage of the CAFA-2023 Nations Cup. The meeting was held on Sunday in Tashkent and ended with a score of 2:0 in favor of the Omanis.
The Omani goalkeeper was named the best player of the meeting, Ibrahim Al-Muhaini made some beautiful saves, leaving his team's goal intact.
Mergen Orazov's team took the last place in the group and completed their performance at the tournament. Omanis will play with the team of Kyrgyzstan in the match for the 3rd place of the Central Asian Nations Cup. The final will be held between the teams of Iran and Uzbekistan. Both matches will take place on the same day - June 20.
