Former Prime Minister of Italy and ex-president of AC Milan Silvio Berlusconi has died at the age of 87, according to Corriere della Sera.
“Silvio Berlusconi has died at the San Raffaele Hospital in Milan. Forza Italia leader and founder of Mediaset was 86 years old.
According to the newspaper, Berlusconi returned to San Raffaele last Friday after a long hospitalization that lasted 45 days. He was admitted to the hospital due to leukemia developed pneumonia.
Berlusconi was the owner of AC Milan from 1986 to 2016. In September 2018, the Italian acquired Monza.
