The shooting of one of the most anticipated films of 2023 “Barbie” with Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie in the lead roles has led to a global shortage of Rosco fluorescent paints in all shades of pink, reports “Argumenty i Fakty” with reference to Business Insider.
To achieve a sense of “genuine artificiality” and “preservation of childishness” in the film, director Greta Gerwig insisted that everything on the set be pink: the dollhouse, furniture, accessories, and more. Hand-drawn backgrounds of the sky and mountains also helped to emphasize the artificiality.
The romantic comedy “Barbie” premieres on July 21. According to the story, after being expelled from Barbieland for not being ideal, Barbie goes to the world of people in search of happiness.
