British pop singer Ed Sheeran is among the top “three” richest contemporary musicians in the UK as of 2023, writes Rg.ru.
Leading the rating of the current, as well as last year, Paul McCartney with a fortune of 950 million pounds. In second place is Sir Elton John, who earned 450 million pounds sterling from his work.
Right after Ed Sheeran, who has 300 million pounds in bank accounts, singer Adele is on the list of Britain's wealthiest musicians with 165 million pounds sterling.
