Tajikistan hosted the first round of the Central Asian Football Association (CAFA) championship among youth teams under 20. According to the Football Federation of Tajikistan, the debut matches was held in Tursunzade and Dushanbe.
In the first game, the national team of Uzbekistan beat the team of Iran with a score of 3:2. In another meeting, the Afghan football players defeated the team of Turkmenistan with a score of 2:1.
Let us remind that the tournament runs from May 21 to 28. According to the regulations, each team will play with each in one round. The winner will be determined by the highest number of points scored.
The next match of the Turkmen youth team within the framework of the CAFA-2023 championship will be held today with the team of Uzbekistan at 17:00 Ashgabat time.
