Turkmen football player, Kitchi midfielder Ruslan Mingazov became the winner of the Hong Kong Cup in the 2022/2023 season.
Kitchee beat Hong Kong Rangers 7-1 in the Cup final on Saturday. The Turkmen football player watched the match on the stands for fans. Mingazov missed the game due to a red card received in the match of the 18th round of the Hong Kong Championship against Lee Man Warriors (2:2).
This trophy was Mingazov's third of the season: earlier, the Kitchee team became the champion of the country and the owner of the Hong Kong Senior Shield trophy. The current season has become a breakthrough for Mingazov: the footballer has 17 goals and 18 matches in the Hong Kong championship.
We remind that in March 2022, Ruslan Mingazov signed a contract with Kitchee as a free agent, becoming the first Turkmen legionnaire in the Hong Kong Football Championship. At the beginning of 2023, the Kitchi football club announced the extension of the contract with Ruslan Mingazov until 2025. Now the player's transfer fee is estimated at 550 000 euros.
